Back in 1977, when people wore flares and didn't wash, something new was bubbling away...
As people emerged from their idealistic haze, Golden Wonder burst onto the groovy scene with an exotic new idea: noodles in a cup. Unfortunately, the name 'Cup Noodles' had already been taken in Japan, but everyone agreed that Pot Noodle sounded way cooler.
So Pot Noodle burst onto the scene, and the British were amazed at how quick and easy it was to make something so tasty and filling.
Today, the British public eat a staggering 155 million potted snacks every year with spoons, forks or their fingers.
Now in its 31st year, everyone's got a Pot Noodle memory. Whether it's that Chicken & Mushroom that saved you on your camping trip, the Bombay Bad Boy that brought you to tears, or the 'Asian style' Posh Noodle you shared on your first date (R.I.P., Posh Noodle).
